Aleah Copeland

competing as a Model, and Vocalist
My name is Aleah Copeland. I am competing in next year’sWCOPA competition as a Vocalist and Model.
I started singing and writing my own lyrics from the tender age of 8, then seriously pursued it at the age of 13. With the encouragement of my parents, friend and family members, I was able to step out of my cocoon boldly. I’ve made appearances around the island at events such as Pirates Week, Church functions, Hard Rock Cafe, Schools functions, NCFA, and was a finalist in the Young Musician of the Year. I’ve also competed in America’s Got Talent February 2017.

It has always been a dream of mine to write and produce lyrics so I am able to captivate my audience in a unique way, also to foster an environment for listeners using my own twist and sounds, forming pieces of music that they can connect to.
I’ve done some modeling on island. I loved the idea of modeling so I started watching Project Runway and America’s/ Caribbean’s Next Top Model like crazy! Whilst in school I gained some professional modeling training and was able to model for my school’s annual fashion show. After that show I was approached by several businesses on island who wanted me to model their clothing lines and do makeup photos as well.
When I heard about the WCOPA, I immediately jumped at the opportunity to get registered, and was excited to audition. I believe being a part to WCOPA Team Cayman will propel me to advance in music and modeling even further. Skies the limit for me, and I am anticipating great things being a part of this amazing team. It is a privilege to be given this opportunity to represent my country in Los Angeles. It is indeed a dream come true.
