Jaedyn Hanna
competing as a Vocalist...

Hailing from the beautiful Cayman Islands, meet Jaedyn Hanna an aspiring singer who believes that music affects people in many different ways. To her, music is more than just something to listen to, it is something to feel. Music allows her the freedom to be who she is as it presents her with the
opportunity to express herself and to tell a story with words.
She has admired Katy Perry and Celine Dion, as their music have been influenced by genres ranging from rock and R&B to gospel and classical. She began singing/performing at a very young age when she joined the Children's choir at church as
it was there that she realized her talent. Throughout the years, she has continued to perform in many yearly productions at the church in which she attends and where she is currently the youngest member of the senior praise team.
Having completed up to Grade 7 of the Trinity College of London exams in voice, she has continued to study voice under local music teachers Beth Appleby and Arek
Nicholson. Not only is she a vocalist, she has also played the piano, tenor saxophone, and the flute with her favourite being the tenor saxophone.

Jaedyn is no stranger to the stage and has been performing throughout the Cayman Islands at various Government and community events and was runner up in the 2016 Young Musician of the Year. She is also a member of the Cayman Youth Choir and the Young at Arts Intensive which is an
educational youth performing arts programme organized by the Cayman National Cultural Foundation.

She is a well-rounded 16 year old who is a skilled 2 Dan Black belt assistant instructor at CASK Karate Cayman and has been in this program since the tender age of 4.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, teaching karate to the youngsters at the Dojo, playing
basketball and listening to various genres of music.
Jaedyn believes that with hard work and determination she can excel with the talent she possesses and truly cannot express how excited and thankful she is to have been given the opportunity to participate in the WCOPA event, and is prepared to share her astounding talent with the world.
