Allenger
competing as aVocalist

My name is Melody Allenger, I’m 14 years old and I live, breath and sleep singing!! I am born and raised in the Cayman Islands and I come from a family of
musicians. Both my mother and father are professional musicians and my brother Cory also sings and plays guitar professionally. From a very young age, my parents would always ask me to come up and sing on stage with them.
I also play the Ukelele, a little piano and a little violin, although singing is my forte.

I am really excited and looking forward to being a part of the Cayman Islands Team for the 2018 WCOPA. It will be an amazing experience to be with lots of other musicians and performers, to meet new people from all over the world and to do what I love doing the most.
I think I am going to learn a lot from this experience. I’m sure I will be able to improve my performing and singing, and I am very grateful for this fantastic opportunity.
